Dawn uzay aracının Ceres gezegenine ulaşmasıyla birlikte gezegenden daha hızlı ve net bilgi akışı sağlanmaya başladı. Minik Ceres gezegenden alınan yüksek çözünürlüklü fotoğraflarda 4km yüksekliğinde bir dağ ve dağın çevresinde su izleri net bir şekilde görülmektedir.
